This Privacy Policy describes how HWY Platform ("HWY," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares your information when you use hwytrucking.com, hwydriver.com, hwytms.com, and logbook.hwytrucking.com (collectively, the "Platform").
When you apply for a HWY Logbook, we collect:
This data is used solely to verify your identity and industry credentials. It is not used for marketing or sold to third parties.
When you use GPS navigation features in HWY Driver, we collect route and location data for the purposes of providing navigation, calculating fuel-efficient routes, and improving commercial routing accuracy. You can disable location access in your device settings, which will disable navigation features.

When you form a ribbon connection with another Logbook, the data shared between parties is governed by the ribbon permissions established at connection time. You can review and revoke these permissions by dropping the ribbon.
CoDriver and Nabrith are AI agents operated by HWY. When you connect to an AI Logbook via ribbon, load and dispatch data relevant to coordination is shared with the AI system. This data is not shared with third parties and is used only to improve coordination for you and for anonymized model improvement.
We may share data with trusted service providers who help operate the Platform (hosting, infrastructure, payment processing). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing the service.
We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of HWY, its users, or the public.
HWY does not sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive documents, and access controls limiting which systems and personnel can access identity data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by applicable law.
HWY uses session cookies for authentication across hwytrucking.com, hwydriver.com, and hwytms.com (via a shared .hwytrucking.com cookie domain). We use only functional cookies necessary to operate the Platform. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we'll update the date above and notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that period constitutes acceptance.
